the past sunday we had a small gathering for my 2 step-daughters, Emilee and Semanntha. on Jan 15th it was Semanntha's 10th birthday and on the 18th it was Emilee's 11th Birthday! They are growing up to be such beautiful sophisticated girls <3 I baked them a cake (their favorite colors, of course)

over the last few days nothing to exciting happened just the normal everyday life, either way my son was there so that made it all worth the uneventful-ness <3

last night Ashton went to sleep at 7:00pm and he didn't wake up until 9:30am :-O  for those of you you dont know... that is 14.5 HOURS !!! so this is the morning here <3

nom nom nom! there is a snack thief! he stole his big cousins snack <3

as the first week of 2012 has come to an end, I can't help but smile at the future ahead! with a knew possible job prospect, a photo in the local newspaper, the support of family and friends, and cuddles from my adorable little boy Ashton, who couldn't be positive!

 It may be the 4th but because of recent, shall we say 'computer issues', it has made it quite difficult to post anything anywhere... uuugh! however i thought (since I borrowed my lovely sisters computer) I will post the lastest little shoot I had in my own kitchen... I was inspired by all the cute little marshmallows ... mmm mmm mmmm unfortunately you cant enjoy it as much as i did but I hope the photos will suffice until you can get to your cupboard to make yourself a cup...
